Hello, I am Kayla, and I am the Owner and Founder of Kaylas Kreations. I have been doing events in Maine and New England for over 11 years! I have coordinated and styled over 250+ events all over New England. In addition, I also host regular content days for wedding vendors, models, photographers and venues! I love all things weddings and events!

 

I have a 7-year-old daughter who also loves helping me plan and decorate for events. I enjoy hiking, dancing, mason jars and charcuterie boards. This year I have decided to start a garden and raise some farm animals.

Event Coordinator

I have lived in this beautiful state of Maine my whole life; the opportunity for deep connection and love for the Western mountains and all they have to offer. A lover of simplicity, I have always had a place in my heart for pretty things.
From a young age I have found myself constantly looking for reasons to throw parties. Really, just an excuse to design something or plan something for fun that friends and family would enjoy. Birthdays for my kids have always been celebrated the way most weddings are; with custom menus, personalized accents and decorated tables. For me this was the norm.
When I first found Kayla, we were both eager to get our feet wet in the wedding industry after both having coordinated our own weddings. I truly felt that I was closer to the moto of never “working a day again in my life” because I knew I had found my passion! After working my first wedding with her and the overwhelming joy as the bride walked down the aisles, I knew there was no turning back, I was hooked. To say that your career is one that not only puts a smile on your own face, but it makes other’s dreams come true, is beyond incredible.
When I am not planning weddings and designing something pretty, you can find me sideline at a youth sporting event being my kids’ biggest cheerleader, or indulging in the black hole of Marvel movies with my boyfriend Jared.

SERVICES

From Day Of Coordination, Full Event Planning, Content Days, Styled Shoots, Marketing/Social Media- we do it all!

DAY OF COORDINATION

Day of Coordination Services: You will have an on-site event coordinator for your big day for 8 hours ( time for whoever you choose for start to finish)  to help with walk thru, follow out of your timeline ( that you get everything done you would like and the flow of the day is smooth), day of vendor management (make sure all vendors arrive on time/direct them where to go/ answer questions, etc.), make sure everyone is lined up for ceremony correctly and let everyone know where to go/stand / when to walk down, coordinate timing with DJ and food and photographer and any other vendors , set up, decorating, questions/troubleshooting, and whatever else you might need on day of.

** this package coordination begins 2 weeks before the event

Packages start at $1,500 + Travel. 

*You can add on month prior coordination to this package for $500 (check in with vendors, final details, securing timeline/schedule and any last-minute troubleshooting)

Rehearsal add on available for $500 (you will have an onsite coordinator for 4 hours)

FULL EVENT PLANNING

Full Event Coordination Services means you are ready to PARTY! You will have a coordinator to help with site visits, development of timeline/ schedule , creation of information sheets with all vendors , phone numbers , emails , arrival times and any special accommodations,  creating floor plans, telephone calls/emails with all contracted vendors, wedding rehearsal supervision + coordination (2 hours), assist with final details, monthly zoom/facetime/email check-ins, decorating and on site day of coordination for ceremony and reception ( 8 hours of your time choice ), accompany you on food tastings, vendor recommendations, can help put flowers together or bouquets . We will work with all vendors for a smooth and stress-free day. You will not have to do a thing with this package!

Packages start at $3,500 + Travel (if over 30 miles from 04290)

EVENT STAFF

Event Staff: Our Event Staff can do it all. Set up, decorating, prep/plate/warm for appetizers, serving cocktail hour or dinner (buffet style or plated meals), clearing tables, moving tables & chairs, direct traffic/parking and clean up after the party. Event staff can also be hired to set up/decorate the day prior to event or for take down the day after the event. Staff can also dog/pet sit, staff security or babysit.

Staff is $50/hour * We do have a 5-hour minimum when hiring event staff.

BAR SERVICES

All beverage services are managed and coordinated by Kaylas Kreations. All beverages are dispensed by “servers” without charge to guests and paid for and delivered by event and wedding parties. Kaylas Kreations does not allow self-managed, cash bars or BYOB. All events serving alcohol must obtain liability insurance.

With Kaylas Kreations, you get a special part of a beverage package by having a bar coordinator to help you in the planning process for 5 hours to help with ordering, drink counts, menu ideas, set up and more.

Add ons include champagne pour, ice pick up/delivery, hot cocoa bar, mocktails, barbacks and staffing.

*Kaylas Kreations holds general liability LLC insurance as well as liquor liability. All Servers are trained in TIPS and safe serv certified.

Packages start out at $1,000 plus travel. 

CONCEPT AND DESIGN PLANNING FOR CONTENT DAYS AND STYLED SHOOTS

We can help plan, design, coordinate, set up and organize styled shoots, branding shoots and content days with you.

Packages start at $1,000 and can be customized 

SOCIAL MEDIA/ MARKETING

Monthly Pricing (pay on the first of the month)

 

Basic: $300
This package includes 2 blog posts a month or 1 blog post and 2 social media posts for the month OR sharing business on social media, in social media groups, reaccommodating business and outreach.

Bronze: $400
This package includes 2 blog post of your choice, 1 social media post a week, 2 goal meetings/ check ins, optimize your Facebook/ Instagram, monthly reporting and review

Silver: $650
This package includes 3 blog posts, 2 social media posts a week, 3 goal meetings, support with messages, inbox responses, support with messages and emails, monthly reporting and review

Gold: $1,300
This package includes 4 blog posts, 3 social media posts a week , 4 goal meetings, support with messages and inboxes, support with bookings and emails, an event (online, in person, sale, etc) planned by me or one project and monthly reporting and review.

* you can add on additional posts, blogs, events, or a ticket to any of our content days or mini sessions to these packages

WEDDING DESIGN CONSULTATION

This service allows you a 2-4 hour consultation with one of our event planners to go over floor plans, design concepts, themes, recommendations and help create your vision come to life. This can be done by zoom, facetime, text, facebook, etc. This package will also include a timeline/schedule template for you for your event.

Originally we did not plan to have a day-of coordinator given our venue had one but ultimately with many moving pieces on our timeline, we decided to hire Kayla and her team to have peace of mind on our wedding day.  I was on the fence about having a planner when we first started planning our semi-elopement wedding, but Kalya found me on a Facebook group after I made a post, and I can't begin to describe how happy I am that we decided to hire her!! Not only was she so helpful with the initial planning by always being so responsive, reaching out to so many vendors, giving tips and recommendations, but day of, I feel like the wedding wouldn't have even happened without her! We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Flanagan Farm and my husband, and I felt the need to drop a sentiment of gratitude to the people who made it happen.Kayla C and Kayla F were truly super stars in making sure everything went off without a hitch. The day was magical in every sense of the word. However, it was only as good as the support and planning we had behind us.The weather changed on on last minute and Kayla pulled some strings and was able to get us an emergency rain tent the morning of. Kayla F was calm cool collected and knew every iota of our day. She made sure our vision came to life and we are forever grateful. Weddings are dynamic events and the Kayla’s are excellent at rolling with anything that was thrown at them from last minute changes to weather emergencies. We had our wedding at Brick South in Portland, Maine. The space is a very large, open space that we wanted to feel warm and inviting, and Kayla and Liz made our vision come to life! They were so nice and easy to work with leading up to our wedding and made sure everything looked absolutely perfect on the day of. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better! From setting up tables/chairs to perfecting our decor to taking it all down at the end of the night - they did it all and with smiles on their faces.

Kayla helped coordinate this event, provided detailed agenda of the day and took care of phone calls for all services involved from catering, bakery, and photography.
